Chapter II
The Word or the Term Gospel in the New Testament
The contradictions, discrepancies and differences between the principles and concepts of the Gospels and the principles and concepts of the Old Testament, as is shown in the previous chapter, are insufficient and not enough alone to prove that it's a new religion, unrelated with the religion of the prophets of the children of Israel, and were not written by the revelation or inspiration of the Holy Spirit, from the point of view of the churches. The Gospels authors and the rest of the New Testament authors, especially Paul, who was fully aware these contradictions, discrepancies and differences, or more precisely, he who has founded them, for this he sought in his letters to justify these contradictions, discrepancies and differences, as shown previously, and considered that this issue is not because of difference sources, but the principles and the concepts of his beliefs have been hidden from all of the former prophets, and has been revealed to him and his followers! As in the following texts:
1 Timothy 3:16 And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifested in the flesh, Justified in the Spirit, Seen by angels, Preached among the Gentiles, Believed on in the world, Received up in glory.
1 Corinthians 2:7 But we speak the wisdom of God in a mystery, the hidden wisdom which God ordained before the ages for our glory,
1 Corinthians 2:8 which none of the rulers of this age knew; for had they known, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory.
1 Corinthians 2:9 But as it is written: "Eye has not seen, nor ear heard, Nor have entered into the heart of man The things which God has prepared for those who love Him."
Ephesians 3:1 For this reason I, Paul, the prisoner of Christ Jesus for you Gentiles —
Ephesians 3:2 if indeed you have heard of the dispensation of the grace of God which was given to me for you,
Ephesians 3:3 how that by revelation He made known to me the mystery (as I have briefly written already,
Ephesians 3:4 by which, when you read, you may understand my knowledge in the mystery of Christ),
Ephesians 3:5 which in other ages was not made known to the sons of men, as it has now been revealed by the Spirit to His holy apostles and prophets:
Ephesians 3:6 that the Gentiles should be fellow heirs, of the same body, and partakers of His promise in Christ through the gospel,
Ephesians 3:7 of which I became a minister according to the gift of the grace of God given to me by the effective working of His power.
Ephesians 3:8 To me, who am less than the least of all the saints, this grace was given, that I should preach among the Gentiles the unsearchable riches of Christ,
Ephesians 3:9 and to make all see what is the fellowship of the mystery, which from the beginning of the ages has been hidden in God who created all things through Jesus Christ;
Ephesians 3:10 to the intent that now the manifold wisdom of God might be made known by the church to the principalities and powers in the heavenly places,
Ephesians 3:11 according to the eternal purpose which He accomplished in Christ Jesus our Lord,
Romans 16:25 Now to Him who is able to establish you according to my gospel and the preaching of Jesus Christ, according to the revelation of the mystery kept secret since the world began
Romans 16:26 but now has been made manifest, and by the prophetic Scriptures has been made known to all nations, according to the commandment of the everlasting God, for obedience to the faith —
In these texts Paul says that the principles and concepts which based on worshiping three gods, who incarnated in the flesh, or at least one of them, according to the faith of every church of the various churches, and they had been flogged, and mocked and spat on them, and crucified and died; was a secret hidden from all Prophets, and that this mystery has not been revealed to anyone else, but only to him and the saints!
This is true in this sense only, because there is no one of the former prophets had spoken about such as this perception about the LORD the Creator of the heavens and the earth, but what is the reality of this mystery which Paul had spoken about?
The reality of this mystery can be recognized by comparing it with the other mysteries which Paul had told to his followers, as in the following text:
1 Corinthians 15:51 Behold, I tell you a mystery: We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed —
In this text Paul reveals another mystery, which was not known by anyone else before him, and has not been seen by anyone else after him, which is that he and his followers would not pass away until the next coming of Jesus, which is what he says more clearly in the following text:
1 Thessalonians 4:13 But I do not want you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning those who have fallen asleep, lest you sorrow as others who have no hope.
1 Thessalonians 4:14 For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so God will bring with Him those who sleep in Jesus.
1 Thessalonians 4:15 For this we say to you by the word of the Lord, that we who are alive and remain until the coming of the Lord will by no means precede those who are asleep.
1 Thessalonians 4:16 For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of an archangel, and with the trumpet of God. And the dead in Christ will rise first.
1 Thessalonians 4:17 Then we who are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And thus we shall always be with the Lord.
1 Thessalonians 4:18 Therefore comfort one another with these words.
Yet, unfortunately, the history has shown that this mystery was not true, and he and his followers had fallen asleep, and after them dozens of generations, thus, the failure to achieve this mystery shows that the first mystery is not true, and is not from the Revelation or by the Word of the Lord, because if it was from the Revelation or by the Word of the Lord; it should not contradicts the texts of the revelation in the Old Testament that confirms the greatest fact in the cosmos; which is the Oneness of the LORD the Creator, and worship Him alone, and the lack of the true gods with Him or beside Him, and with the clarity of this fact, but I will mention text from the Old Testament refutes all the words of Paul and the others that the Lord the Creator of the heavens and the earth hid some secrets from the former prophets, which is as follows:
Amos 3:7 Surely the Lord GOD does nothing, Unless He reveals His secret to His servants the prophets.
The Lord the Creator does not say any word unless it is a clear; and reveals His secret to the prophets, especially His Oneness, and the lack of the true gods with Him or beside Him, who participated with Him in creating the heavens and earth, or deserve to be worshiped with Him or beside Him, thus, this text invalidates all the words of Paul and the others about hiding the mystery of the Trinity.
The insistence of the New Testament authors and the churches considering that the New Testament and their beliefs are an extension of the Old Testament and its principles and concepts, requires us to examine the Gospels in the New Testament objectively and subjectively, i.e., study the meaning of the word Gospel, and the places mentioned therein, and the purpose of writing the Gospels, and the methods and ways of writing, and the lost Gospels which are mentioned in the Letters of the New Testament. As well as study the texts of the Gospels which were quoted from the Old Testament. This will give us a clear idea of the reality of the Gospels, and if they had been written by the revelation or the inspiration of the Holy Spirit or not, and the sources that were relied on to write the Gospels.
The Word or the Term "Gospel" in the Letters of the New Testament
The Letters of the New Testament are a collection of letters talking about the disciples after Jesus ascension into heaven, whether by talking about their lives and their activities as the letter Acts of the Apostles and some of Paul's letters, or by trying to resolve the practical and theological problems which they have faced at that time, such as a warning of the differences that were taking place among the disciples and the followers, or to prove that Jesus is the Christ, and he who was intended in the prophecies of the Old Testament, or to prove that the Law no longer binding them, not only the circumcision, or the Sabbath but even the rest of the laws, and other issues that summoned the research and debate at that time, and the last letter is the book of Revelation, which is talking about the signs of the End of Time, and the end of life on Earth.
These letters will be significantly helpful in our search for the true meaning of word "gospel", because they talk about how the disciples' preaching was, and the sources which they had relied upon.
The Word or the Term "gospel" in the Acts of the Apostles
Act 5:42 And daily in the temple, and in every house, they did not cease teaching and preaching Jesus as the Christ.
New International Version
Acts 5:42 Day after day, in the temple courts and from house to house, they never stopped teaching and proclaiming the good news that Jesus is the Christ.
In this text we read that after Jesus ascended into heaven; the disciples began preaching or teaching and proclaiming the good news, i.e., the gospel, that Jesus is the Christ, so how did they preach, teach and proclaim, and what is the good news that was with them, particularly that the four Gospels were not written at that time yet?!
Act 8:4 Therefore those who were scattered went everywhere preaching the word.
Act 8:5 Then Philip went down to the city of Samaria and preached Christ to them.
New International Version
Acts 8:4-5 Those who had been scattered preached the ward wherever they went. Philip went down to a city in Samaria and proclaimed the Christ there.
In this text we read that the disciples after the death of Stephen have scattered in the cities and preached the word, and Phillip went to the city in Samaria and proclaimed or preached Christ there, and the question that arises here is what is the word that was preached by the disciples, and what is the preaching of Phelps of Christ; is it through his own words, or by the inspiration which was received through the Spirit, or a letter was received from Jesus, and why the churches did not keep the preaching of Phelp if it was a revelation or a book, especially he did not preach by the four Gospels because they were not written at that time?
Act 8:12 But when they believed Philip as he preached the things concerning the kingdom of God and the name of Jesus Christ, both men and women were baptized.

Acts 8:12 But when they believed Philip as he preached the good news of the kingdom of God and the name of Jesus Christ, they were baptized, both men and women.
In this text we read that men and women those who Philip preached them the good news of the kingdom of God and the name of Jesus Christ; they believed and were baptized, so how Philip preached them, and what is the gospel of the Kingdom of God or the good news of the Kingdom of God, and what are the sources of this gospel or the good news, is it a revelation or an inspiration or a certain book, and why the churches did not keep it, which will not be able to say that he was preaching by the four Gospels and the good news of the Kingdom of God, because they were not written at that time?!
Act 8:35 Then Philip opened his mouth, and beginning at this Scripture, preached Jesus to him.
New International Version
Acts 8:35 Then Philip began with that very passage of Scripture and told him the good news about Jesus.
This text answers all questions above, because it shows the way of Philip's preaching to preach the good news of Jesus, which is the interpretation of what is written in the Book of Isaiah, and says that it was written about Jesus, and not by revelation or inspiration or by a certain book has received from Jesus or the Holy Spirit, for this the churches did not keep the good news or the gospel which Philip was preaching by it!
Act 8:40 But Philip was found at Azotus. And passing through, he preached in all the cities till he came to Caesarea.

Acts 8:40 Philip, however, appeared at Azotus and traveled about, preaching the gospel in all the towns until he reached Caesarea.
In this text we read that Philip preached, or preaching the gospel, so how did he preach, and what is the Gospel which he had preached, and the churches will not be able to state that he preached through the four Gospels because they were not written at the time?
Act 8:25 So when they had testified and preached the word of the Lord, they returned to Jerusalem, preaching the gospel in many villages of the Samaritans.

Acts 8:25 When they had testified and proclaimed the word of the Lord, Peter and John returned to Jerusalem, preaching the gospel in many Samaritan villages.
In this text we read that Peter and John preached the gospel, so what is this gospel, and why the churches did not keep it, and here also the churches could not say that they have preached the four Gospel or even the Gospel of John himself! Because they were not written at that time?
Act 9:20 Immediately he preached the Christ in the synagogues, that He is the Son of God.
Act 9:21 Then all who heard were amazed, and said, "Is this not he who destroyed those who called on this name in Jerusalem, and has come here for that purpose, so that he might bring them bound to the chief priests?"
Act 9:22 But Saul increased all the more in strength, and confounded the Jews who dwelt in Damascus, proving that this Jesus is the Christ.

Acts 9:20-22 At once he began to preach in the synagogues that Jesus is the Son of God. All those who heard him were astonished and asked, "Isn't he the man who raised havoc in Jerusalem among those who call on his name, And hasn't he come here to take them as prisoners to the chief priests?" Yet Saul grew more and more powerful and baffled the Jews living in Damascus by proving that Jesus is the Christ.
This text talks about the beginning of preaching of Paul, who was named Saul, in Damascus, so how did he preach and confound or baffle the Jews?
Did he preach through the four Gospels?
The answer is definitely no, because they were not written at this time.
Did he preach through revelation or inspiration which he has received from the Holy Spirit?
This is possible, but why the churches did not keep this revelation?
No one thinks that this revelation, or what he preached means his letters, because those letters have been written after dozens of years of this story, which he never mentioned in any paragraph of his letters that he has written them by the revelation or inspiration of the Holy Spirit, as will be seen later.
Act 10:36 "The word which God sent to the children of Israel, preaching peace through Jesus Christ — He is Lord of all.
New International Version
Acts 10:36 You know the message God sent to the people of Israel, telling the good news of peace through Jesus Christ,who is Lord of all.
In this text we read that the word of God has sent to the children of Israel to preach or to tell the good news of peace through Jesus Christ, so what is the word of God which was sent to the Children of Israel?
The word of God which was sent to the children of Israel is the revelation, which was given to the Prophets of Israel in the Old Testament, and there is no word came to them from God except what has been written in the time of the Prophets, and this shows that the meaning of the good news, or gospel in Greek, is the Old Testament texts and prophecies, which the Gospels authors have understood from them that they were talking about Jesus, and this shows that the meaning of the preaching of the disciples, whether the word of God or the good news or the gospel of the Kingdom; is the preaching through the texts and prophecies of the Old Testament; according to their understanding of those texts and prophecies that Jesus is the Christ, and the following text shows this meaning clearly.
Act 10:42 "And He commanded us to preach to the people, and to testify that it is He who was ordained by God to be Judge of the living and the dead.
Act 10:43 "To Him all the prophets witness that, through His name, whoever believes in Him will receive remission of sins."
This text is an extension to the text that quoted above, and says that all the prophets have testified that whoever believes in Jesus receives forgiveness of sins, and this is a clear evidence about what they have preached by; which is the Old Testament texts and their interpretation, to say that the former prophets have testified to Jesus as an appointed by God to judge the living and the dead, and the reality of the testimony of the prophets and this interpretation will be shown in the next chapter, when we examine the texts that have been quoted from the Old Testament.
Act 11:19 Now those who were scattered after the persecution that arose over Stephen traveled as far as Phoenicia, Cyprus, and Antioch, preaching the word to no one but the Jews only.
Act 11:20 But some of them were men from Cyprus and Cyrene, who, when they had come to Antioch, spoke to the Hellenists, preaching the Lord Jesus.

Acts 11:19-20 Now those who had been scattered by the persecution in connection with Stephen traveled as far as Phoenicia, Cyprus and Antioch, telling the message only to Jews. Some of them, however, men from Cyprus and Cyrene, went to Antioch and began to speak to Greeks also, telling them the good news about the Lord Jesus.
This text talks about the first attempts to preach among the peoples of Gentiles, and we read that the believers were telling the Greeks the good news, i.e., the gospel, about Jesus, and this indicates that there was with them a book or information to preach it, so what is this book or information and what is its sources, especially they did not preach through the four Gospels, because they were not written at this time?
Act 13:5 And when they arrived in Salamis, they preached the word of God in the synagogues of the Jews. They also had John as their assistant.

Acts 13:5 When they arrived at Salamis, they proclaimed the word of God in Jewish synagogues. John was with them as their helper.
This text talks about Paul and Barnabas when they were preaching in the island of Cyprus, we also note that they preached the word of God in the synagogues of the Jews, so what was the word of God which they have preached to them, is it a revelation or inspiration of the Holy Spirit or a special Gospel which they have received from Jesus, or it means another meaning?
If we said it was a revelation or inspiration of the Holy Spirit or a special Gospel which they have received from Jesus, why they need to go to the synagogues of the Jews, who did not recognize or accept any revelation or book except the Books of the Old Testament?
But if we said that they were explaining and interpreting the Old Testament texts and prophecies to prove that they had been fulfilled in Jesus, here, going to the synagogues of the Jews makes sense, because they proclaimed or preached Jesus as the Christ through the revelation which the Jews believe in it!
This will be shown very clearly when talking about the relationship between the Gospels authors and the Old Testament, as well as, it shows also in this chapter (Acts 13:14-52). Then after this city they went to Pisidian Antioch and entered the synagogue of the Jews, and there Paul begins talking about the history of the Children of Israel; and cited some texts of the Old Testament to conclude that they have been fulfilled in Jesus! So the word of God means the texts of the Old Testament that talk about Jesus according to the understanding of Paul and the others. Otherwise, the churches should explain the reason for not keeping this word which was preached by Paul, especially that it could not say it means the four Gospels because they have been written after decades of this period.
Act 14:7 And they were preaching the gospel there.

In this text we read that Paul and Barnabas were preaching the gospel, and I am wondering what is this Gospel, and why the churches did not keep it?!
Act 15:7 And when there had been much dispute, Peter rose up and said to them: "Men and brethren, you know that a good while ago God chose among us, that by my mouth the Gentiles should hear the word of the gospel and believe.

Acts 15:7 After much discussion, Peter got up and addressed them: ''Brothers, you know that some time ago God made a choice among you that the Gentiles might hear from my lips the message of the gospel and believe.
This text talks about the gospel which Peter was preaching to the Gentiles (non-Jews), and I am wondering what was this Gospel and why the churches did not keep it, especially as he was not speaking about the four Gospels because they were not written at this time?!
Act 15:35 Paul and Barnabas also remained in Antioch, teaching and preaching the word of the Lord, with many others also.

Acts 15:35 But Paul and Barnabas remained in Antioch, where they and many others taught and preached the word of the Lord.
In this text we read that Paul and Barnabas have taught and preached the word of the Lord, and as we know that the four Gospels had been written after dozens of years of this story, so what is the word of the Lord which they had taught and preached, and why the churches did not keep it?
Act 16:10 Now after he had seen the vision, immediately we sought to go to Macedonia, concluding that the Lord had called us to preach the gospel to them.

Acts 16:10 After Paul had seen the vision we got ready at once to leave for Macedonia, concluding that God had called us to preach the gospel to them.
In this text we read that the Lord had called Paul and his followers to preach the gospel to the Macedonians, again and again, I am wondering what was this Gospel, which the LORD had called Paul to preach to the Macedonians, is it a revelation or inspiration of the Holy Spirit and why the churches did not keep it?!
Act 17:10 Then the brethren immediately sent Paul and Silas away by night to Berea. When they arrived, they went into the synagogue of the Jews.
Act 17:11 These were more fair-minded than those in Thessalonica, in that they received the word with all readiness, and searched the Scriptures daily to find out whether these things were so.
Act 17:12 Therefore many of them believed, and also not a few of the Greeks, prominent women as well as men.
Act 17:13 But when the Jews from Thessalonica learned that the word of God was preached by Paul at Berea, they came there also and stirred up the crowds.

Acts 17:10-13 As soon as it was night, the brothers sent Paul and Silas away to Berea. On arriving there, they went to the Jewish synagogue. Now the Bereans were more noble character than the Thessalonians, for they received the message with great eagerness and examined the Scriptures every day to see if what Paul said was true. Many of the Jews believed as did also a number of prominent Greek women and many Greek men.
When the Jews in Thessalonica learned that Paul was preaching the word of God at Berea, they went there too, agitating the crowds and stirring them up.
This text shows the true meaning of the word of God that was used by Luke and Paul, which is the Old Testament texts that talk about Jesus, for this they have not preached them through the four Gospels or by revelation or inspiration of the Holy Spirit, but through explaining and interpreting the texts of the scriptures which they thought that it talks about Jesus, and this will be clearer if we read what is written in the beginning of this chapter, as in the following text:
Act 17:1 Now when they had passed through Amphipolis and Apollonia, they came to Thessalonica, where there was a synagogue of the Jews.
Act 17:2 Then Paul, as his custom was, went in to them, and for three Sabbaths reasoned with them from the Scriptures,
Act 17:3 explaining and demonstrating that the Christ had to suffer and rise again from the dead, and saying, "This Jesus whom I preach to you is the Christ."
Paul, in this text, and in other texts, did not preach to the Jews through the four Gospels or by revelation or inspiration of the Holy Spirit, but he gave them proofs through his understanding and interpreting the texts of the Old Testament, which was the same method and way to break and set aside the principles and concepts of the Old Testament by Paul himself, as shown previously, and this is what was causing problems between Paul and the Jews, because if he preaches through a special book, or a revelation will not provoke the Jews, because they were at that time under the rule of the Romans, who were worshiping dozens of idols, and did not make a problem among the Jews, yet when someone, or a group of people, comes and begins interpreting the Old Testament texts to say that the Old Testament called to worship three gods, and the LORD the Creator has a true son; this what will be unacceptable by the Jews, and will do their best for resist it, which they have already done with Paul, as is written in the Acts of the Apostles about trying to kill Paul before he goes to Rome.
Therefore, the word of God means interpreting the texts of the Old Testament by the Gospels authors, and not a special revelation or inspiration which has been received from Jesus or the Spirit.
Act 17:18 Then certain Epicurean and Stoic philosophers encountered him. And some said, "What does this babbler want to say?" Others said, "He seems to be a proclaimer of foreign gods," because he preached to them Jesus and the resurrection.

Acts 17:18 A group of Epicurean and Stoic philosophers began to dispute with him. Some of them asked, "What is this babbler trying to say?" Others remarked, "He seems to be advocating foreign gods." They said this because Paul was preaching the good news about Jesus and the resurrection.
This text talks about Paul's preaching in Athens. So how did he preach there?
Did he preach by the four Gospels or by his own Gospel, which he has received through the Revelation or the Spirit?
In fact, Paul did not preach to the Greeks in Athens by any of these ways, but he preached them by what they believe in it, including poetry! As in the following text:
Act 17:22 Then Paul stood in the midst of the Areopagus and said, "Men of Athens, I perceive that in all things you are very religious;
Act 17:23 "for as I was passing through and considering the objects of your worship, I even found an altar with this inscription: TO THE UNKNOWN GOD. Therefore, the One whom you worship without knowing, Him I proclaim to you:
Act 17:24 "God, who made the world and everything in it, since He is Lord of heaven and earth, does not dwell in temples made with hands.
Act 17:25 "Nor is He worshiped with men’s hands, as though He needed anything, since He gives to all life, breath, and all things.
Act 17:26 "And He has made from one blood every nation of men to dwell on all the face of the earth, and has determined their preappointed times and the boundaries of their dwellings,
Act 17:27 "so that they should seek the Lord, in the hope that they might grope for Him and find Him, though He is not far from each one of us;
Act 17:28 "for in Him we live and move and have our being, as also some of your own poets have said, ‘For we are also His offspring’.
Act 17:29 "Therefore, since we are the offspring of God, we ought not to think that the Divine Nature is like gold or silver or stone, something shaped by art and man’s devising.
Act 17:30 "Truly, these times of ignorance God overlooked, but now commands all men everywhere to repent,
Act 17:31 "because He has appointed a day on which He will judge the world in righteousness by the Man whom He has ordained. He has given assurance of this to all by raising Him from the dead."
As we read that Paul preached them through what has been written on an altar "TO THE UNKNOWN GOD", and cited saying of some of their poets "For we are also His offspring" and did not preach them through the Revelation or the four Gospels, and this indicates that the meaning of the word gospel is what was the disciples and Paul and the others saying or preaching or writing about Jesus, and does not mean the four Gospels or the Revelation or the Inspiration which was received through Jesus or the Spirit!
Act 20:18 And when they had come to him, he said to them: "You know, from the first day that I came to Asia, in what manner I always lived among you,
Act 20:19 "serving the Lord with all humility, with many tears and trials which happened to me by the plotting of the Jews;
Act 20:20 "how I kept back nothing that was helpful, but proclaimed it to you, and taught you publicly and from house to house,
Act 20:21 "testifying to Jews, and also to Greeks, repentance toward God and faith toward our Lord Jesus Christ.
Act 20:22 "And see, now I go bound in the spirit to Jerusalem, not knowing the things that will happen to me there,
Act 20:23 "except that the Holy Spirit testifies in every city, saying that chains and tribulations await me.
Act 20:24 "But none of these things move me; nor do I count my life dear to myself, so that I may finish my race with joy, and the ministry which I received from the Lord Jesus, to testify to the gospel of the grace of God.
In this text Paul says that he considered his life worth nothing to him, if only he may finished the race and completed the task of the Lord Jesus that has given to him, and that task is testifying to the gospel of God's grace, and this indicates to one of two things, either he has the Gospel of God's grace and wants to preach it, and this Gospel was not kept by the churches!
Or this gospel was with the disciples and he wants to testify to it, and this Gospel also was not kept by the churches, which is certainly did not refer to the Four Gospels, because they were not written at that time, as is well-known, so why the churches did not keep the Gospel of God's grace, which Paul has received the ministry from the Lord Jesus to testify to it?
As for his way of testimony and teaching and declaring and preaching to the Jews and Greeks; we have read it previously, which was not through the Revelation or the Inspiration of the Holy Spirit!
Act 28:30 Then Paul dwelt two whole years in his own rented house, and received all who came to him,
Act 28:31 preaching the kingdom of God and teaching the things which concern the Lord Jesus Christ with all confidence, no one forbidding him.

Acts 28:30-31 For two whole years Paul stayed there in his own rented house and welcomed all who came to see him.
Boldly and without hindrance he preached the kingdom of God and taught about the Lord Jesus Christ.
In this text Luke says that Paul was preaching the Kingdom of God in Rome, and the question that arises here is what are the sources that he had relied upon during his preaching for the Kingdom of God, is it a revelation or an inspiration of Holy Spirit or the four Gospels, or interpreting the texts of the Old Testament?!
From all of the above, we conclude that the word "gospel" in the Acts of the Apostles does not mean the four Gospels, and that the disciples have not preached through it, but they preached through their interpreting and understanding of the texts of the Old Testament.
