Chapter
II
The
Word or the Term Gospel in the New Testament
The
contradictions, discrepancies and differences between the principles and
concepts of the Gospels and the principles and concepts of the Old Testament,
as is shown in the previous chapter, are insufficient and not enough alone to
prove that it's a new religion, unrelated with the religion of the prophets of
the children of Israel, and were not written by the revelation or inspiration
of the Holy Spirit, from the point of view of the churches. The Gospels authors
and the rest of the New Testament authors, especially Paul, who was fully aware
these contradictions, discrepancies and differences, or more precisely, he who
has founded them, for this he sought in his letters to justify these contradictions, discrepancies
and differences, as shown previously, and considered that this issue is not
because of difference sources, but the principles and the concepts of his
beliefs have been hidden from all of the former prophets, and has been revealed
to him and his followers! As in the following texts:
1 Timothy 3:16
And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: God
was manifested in the flesh, Justified in the Spirit, Seen by angels, Preached
among the Gentiles, Believed on in the world, Received up in glory.
1 Corinthians
2:7 But we speak the wisdom of God in a mystery, the hidden
wisdom which God ordained
before the ages for our glory,
1 Corinthians
2:8 which none of the rulers of this age knew; for had they
known, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory.
1 Corinthians
2:9 But as it is written: "Eye has not seen, nor ear heard,
Nor have entered into the heart of man The things which God has prepared for
those who love Him."
Ephesians 3:1 For this
reason I, Paul, the prisoner of Christ Jesus for
you Gentiles —
Ephesians 3:2 if indeed you have heard of the dispensation of the
grace of God which was given to me for you,
Ephesians 3:3 how that by revelation He made known to me the
mystery (as I have briefly written already,
Ephesians 3:4 by which, when you read, you may understand my
knowledge in the mystery of Christ),
Ephesians 3:5 which in other ages was not made known to the
sons of men, as it has now been revealed by the Spirit to His
holy apostles and prophets:
Ephesians 3:6 that the Gentiles should be fellow heirs, of the
same body, and partakers of His promise in Christ through the gospel,
Ephesians 3:7 of which I became a minister according
to the gift of the grace of God given to me by the effective working
of His power.
Ephesians 3:8 To me, who am less than the least of all the
saints, this grace was given, that I should preach among the
Gentiles the unsearchable riches of Christ,
Ephesians 3:9 and to make all see what is the fellowship of the mystery, which from the
beginning of the ages has been hidden in God who created all things through
Jesus Christ;
Ephesians 3:10 to the intent that now the manifold wisdom of God
might be made known by the church to the principalities and powers in the
heavenly places,
Ephesians 3:11 according to the eternal purpose which He
accomplished in Christ Jesus our Lord,
Romans 16:25 Now to Him
who is able to establish you according to my gospel and the
preaching of Jesus Christ, according to the revelation of the mystery
kept secret since the world began
Romans 16:26 but now has been made manifest, and by
the prophetic Scriptures has been made known to all nations, according
to the commandment of the everlasting God, for obedience to the faith —
In
these texts Paul says that the principles and concepts which based on
worshiping three gods, who incarnated in the flesh, or at least one of them,
according to the faith of every church of the various churches, and they had
been flogged, and mocked and spat on them, and crucified and died; was a secret
hidden from all Prophets, and that this mystery has not been revealed to anyone
else, but only to him and the saints!
This
is true in this sense only, because there is no one of the former prophets had
spoken about such as this perception about the LORD the Creator of the heavens
and the earth, but what is the reality of this mystery which Paul had spoken
about?
The
reality of this mystery can be recognized by comparing it with the other
mysteries which Paul had told to his followers, as in the following text:
1 Corinthians
15:51 Behold, I tell you a
mystery: We shall not all sleep, but we shall all
be changed —
In
this text Paul reveals another mystery, which was not known by anyone else
before him, and has not been seen by anyone else after him, which is that he
and his followers would not pass away until the next coming of Jesus, which is
what he says more clearly in the following text:
1 Thessalonians
4:13 But I do not want you to
be ignorant, brethren, concerning those who have fallen asleep, lest
you sorrow as others who have no hope.
1 Thessalonians
4:14 For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so God will
bring with Him those who sleep in Jesus.
1 Thessalonians
4:15 For this we say to you by the word of the Lord, that we
who are alive and remain until the
coming of the Lord will by no means precede those who are asleep.
1 Thessalonians
4:16 For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout,
with the voice of an archangel, and with the trumpet of God. And the dead
in Christ will rise first.
1 Thessalonians
4:17 Then we who are alive and
remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in
the air. And thus we shall always be with the Lord.
1 Thessalonians
4:18 Therefore comfort one another with these words.
Yet,
unfortunately, the history has shown that this mystery was not true, and he and
his followers had fallen asleep, and after them dozens of generations, thus, the
failure to achieve this mystery shows that the first mystery is not true, and
is not from the Revelation or by the Word of the Lord, because if it was from
the Revelation or by the Word of the Lord; it should not contradicts the texts
of the revelation in the Old Testament that confirms the greatest fact in the
cosmos; which is the Oneness of the LORD the Creator, and worship Him alone,
and the lack of the true gods with Him or beside Him, and with the clarity of
this fact, but I will mention text from the Old Testament refutes all the words
of Paul and the others that the Lord the Creator of the heavens and the earth
hid some secrets from the former prophets, which is as follows:
Amos 3:7 Surely the Lord GOD does nothing, Unless
He reveals His secret to His servants the prophets.
The
Lord the Creator does not say any word unless it is a clear; and reveals His
secret to the prophets, especially His Oneness, and the lack of the true gods
with Him or beside Him, who participated with Him in creating the heavens and
earth, or deserve to be worshiped with Him or beside Him, thus, this text
invalidates all the words of Paul and the others about hiding the mystery of
the Trinity.
The
insistence of the New Testament authors and the churches considering that the
New Testament and their beliefs are an extension of the Old Testament and its
principles and concepts, requires us to examine the Gospels in the New Testament
objectively and subjectively, i.e., study the meaning of the word Gospel, and
the places mentioned therein, and the purpose of writing the Gospels, and the
methods and ways of writing, and the lost Gospels which are mentioned in the
Letters of the New Testament. As well as study the texts of the Gospels which
were quoted from the Old Testament. This will give us a clear idea of the
reality of the Gospels, and if they had been written by the revelation or the
inspiration of the Holy Spirit or not, and the sources that were relied on to
write the Gospels.
The
Word or the Term "gospel" in the Four Gospels
The
Word or the Term "gospel" in the Gospel of Matthew
Matthew
wrote the word or the term "gospel" or the good news in several
places in his Gospel and the following is a review of the most important places
in which mentioned the word or the term "gospel" in his Gospel.
Matthew 4:23 And Jesus
went about all Galilee, teaching in their synagogues, preaching the
gospel of the kingdom, and healing all kinds of sickness and all kinds
of disease among the people.
Matthew 9:35 Then Jesus
went about all the cities and villages, teaching in their synagogues, preaching
the gospel of the kingdom, and healing every sickness and every disease
among the people.
Matthew 24:14 "And
this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in all the world as a
witness to all the nations, and then the end will come.
Matthew 26:13 "Assuredly,
I say to you, wherever this gospel is preached in the whole
world, what this woman has done will also be told as a memorial to her."
In
these texts we read that Jesus was talking about the gospel of the kingdom and
this gospel! And here, he did not refer to the four Gospels, because they were
not written at that time, as is well known, and the question that arises here
is where is the gospel of the kingdom or “this gospel” that mentioned by Jesus,
and why the churches didn't keep it?!
From
this, we conclude that Matthew did not talk about his gospel as a revelation,
which he has received from the LORD, or the Inspiration of the Holy Spirit, and
he used the word gospel to signify what Jesus was preaching, or a book was
called the Gospel of the Kingdom, or the Gospel, which was written in the time
of Jesus, and the churches did not keep it for reasons not clarified.
The
Word or the Term "gospel" in the Gospel of Mark
The
Gospel of Mark begins with the following text:
Mark 1:1 The beginning
of the gospel of Jesus Christ, the Son of God.
Mark 1:2 As it is written in the Prophets: "Behold,
I send My messenger before Your face, Who will prepare Your way before
You."
Mark 1:3 "The voice of one crying in the wilderness:
‘Prepare the way of the Lord; Make His paths straight’."
Mark 1:4 John came baptizing in the wilderness and preaching
a baptism of repentance for the remission of sins.
In
this text we see that Mark used the word "gospel" in the idiomatic meaning,
i.e., that what he writes is the Gospel of Jesus, so what does he mean by this
paragraph?
Does
he mean the beginning of his preaching of Jesus through the Revelation and the Inspiration
of the Holy Spirit, or the beginning of his preaching of Jesus through his
information, and the information of the disciples as Luke said?
Or
means the beginning of the Old Testament prophecies about Jesus?!
If
we say that the meaning of the words "the beginning of the gospel of
Jesus" is a book inspired by the Holy Spirit, or had been written by the
Holy Spirit, or his preaching of Jesus by talking about some periods of his
life, it bears a lot of simplification of the real meaning of the word gospel,
for several reasons. The first is that he did not mention in any chapter of his
Gospel that he has received it through the revelation, or wrote it by the
inspiration of the Holy Spirit. The second is that the errors and
contradictions and differences, whether between him and other Gospels, or
between him and the Old Testament, which will be shown in the next chapter,
confirms that he did not mean this meaning in this paragraph. The third reason,
which that shows he did not mean the simple meaning of the word gospel, i.e.,
the beginning of his preaching of Jesus, is that the preaching should be based
on the one of the following things, either to be revelation or inspiration that
has been received from the LORD, which Mark never declare it, or through
studying the natural phenomena and draw the results that some events will be
occurring in the future, which is preaching by them, and this method has
mentioned by Jesus, as in the following text:
Luke 12:54 Then He also
said to the multitudes, "Whenever
you see a cloud rising out of the west, immediately you say, ‘A
shower is coming’; and so it is.
Luke 12:55 "And
when you see the south wind blow, you say, ‘There will be
hot weather’; and there is.
Luke 12:56 "Hypocrites!
You can discern the face of the sky and of the earth, but how
is it you do not discern this time?
This
text talks about the natural phenomena, which might some people conclude that
some natural phenomena will take place in the future, and this is not the way
of Mark in his Gospel, or his way of preaching of Jesus. Finally, or preaching
Jesus through interpreting the texts, or the prophecies of the Old Testament as
a revelation that had talked about some things that will take place in the
future, including the talking about a man of the seed of David who will
dominate the world and deliver the children of Israel of the oppression they
face, and this appears clearly in the Gospel of Mark, because in the subsequent
paragraphs to the first paragraph; he instantly begins speaking about John the
Baptist and what is written about him in the prophets that he is a messenger
and the voice of one crying in the wilderness, and this indicates that he meant
of the Gospel of Jesus is the texts or the prophecies that mentioned in the Old
Testament, which had been fulfilled in Jesus as a Christ and the son of God,
and all this according to his understanding of those texts, for this he wrote
two errors in those paragraphs, the first is that he stated that John the
Baptist was a messenger and the voice of one crying in the wilderness for
Jesus, and this is not true, because John the Baptist according to the Gospels
did not follow Jesus in one day throughout his life, and he has his own
teachings, as well as he has his own disciples, and they continued long after
Jesus as is written in the Acts of the Apostles, and at the end of his life was
not sure of the task and the characteristics of Jesus for this he has sent to
him two of his disciples to ask him if he is the Christ (Messiah) or not, as in
the following texts:
Matthew 11:2 And when John had heard in prison about the
works of Christ, he sent two of his disciples
Matthew 11:3 and said to Him, "Are You the Coming One,
or do we look for another?"
Luke 7:18 Then the disciples of John reported to him
concerning all these things.
Luke 7:19 And John,
calling two of his disciples to him,
sent them to Jesus, saying,
"Are You the Coming One, or do we look for another?"
Luke 7:20 When the men had come to Him, they said, "John
the Baptist has sent us to You, saying, ‘Are You the Coming One, or do we look
for another’?"
Luke 11:1 Now it came
to pass, as He was praying in a certain place, when He ceased, that one of His disciples said to
Him, "Lord, teach us to pray, as John also taught his
disciples."
Matthew 9:14 Then the
disciples of John came to Him, saying, "Why do we and the
Pharisees fast often, but Your disciples do not fast?"
Mark 2:18 The disciples
of John and of the Pharisees were fasting. Then they
came and said to Him, "Why do the disciples of John and of the Pharisees
fast, but Your disciples do not fast?"
Act 18:24 Now a certain
Jew named Apollos, born at Alexandria, an eloquent man and mighty in the Scriptures, came to
Ephesus.
Act 18:25 This man had been instructed in the way of the
Lord; and being fervent in spirit, he spoke and taught accurately the
things of the Lord, though he knew only the baptism of John.
Hence,
we can see that John the Baptist was not the man who prepared the way for
Jesus, and made his paths straight as wrote Mark.
The
second error which we find in these paragraphs is the Saying "as it is
written in the prophets", and as well known that in some versions is
written "as it is written in Isaiah the prophet", as in the following
texts:
American
Standard Version
Even
as it is written in Isaiah the prophet, Behold, I send my
messenger before thy face, Who shall prepare thy way.
Bible
in Basic English Version
Even
as it is said in the book of Isaiah the prophet, See, I send my
servant before your face, who will make ready your way;
New
Revised Standard Version
As
it is written in the prophet Isaiah, "See, I am sending my
messenger ahead of you, who will prepare your way;
The
Latin Vulgate Version
-
Sicut scriptum est in Esaia propheta ecce mitto angelum meum ante
faciem tuam qui praeparabit viam tuam.
As
well as the paragraph "as written in the Book of Isaiah" is written
in the Codex Sinaiticus and the Codex Vaticanus, the oldest manuscripts, Pisa
and Syriac, and the paragraph "as it is written in the prophets" written in the manuscript Alexandrian and
Abyssinian, and others, so what is the mystery beyond this difference?
This
is due to the fact that this paragraph which was quoted from the Old Testament
is not entirely written in Isaiah!
Because
the paragraph "Behold, I send My messenger before Your face, Who will
prepare Your way before You." is
not written in Isaiah, but written in the book of Malachi (3:1), and the
paragraph which is written in Isaiah (40:3), is "The voice of one crying
in the wilderness: ‘Prepare the way of the Lord; Make His paths
straight’". So the saying of Mark that the paragraphs are written in
Isaiah; shows his ignorance in the Books of the Old Testament, and shows also
his purpose of use the Old Testament texts to talk about Jesus or preaching him,
regardless of the reality of those texts, or where it is written! For this some
scribes later tried to correct what is written in the old copies by writing
"as it is written in the prophets", instead of Isaiah, for not to pay
attention to the paragraph that is not written in Isaiah.
Then
we read the word "gospel" in the following text:
Mark 1:14 Now after
John was put in prison, Jesus came to Galilee, preaching the
gospel of the kingdom of God,
Mark 1:15 and saying, "The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand.
Repent, and believe in the gospel."
The
first thing we notice in these paragraphs, which is an evidence that the
Gospels have not been written by the Revelation or the inspiration of the Holy
Spirit, and have not been written through true seeing or hearing as well, is
the contradiction with what was written by John in his Gospel about the
beginning of the preaching of Jesus, because he wrote that Jesus began
preaching before the arrest of John the Baptist, and even that the First
Disciples of Jesus were of the disciples of John the Baptist, as in the
following text:
John 1:35 Again, the next day, John stood with two of his
disciples.
John 1:36 And looking at Jesus as He walked, he said, "Behold
the Lamb of God!"
John 1:37 The two
disciples heard him speak, and they followed Jesus.
John 1:38 Then Jesus turned, and seeing them following, said to
them, "What do you seek?
" They said to Him,
"Rabbi" (which is to say, when translated, Teacher), "where are
You staying?"
John 1:39 He said to them, "Come and see." They came and saw where He was staying, and remained with Him
that day (now it was about the tenth hour).
John 1:40 One of the two who heard John speak, and followed Him, was Andrew, Simon Peter’s brother.
The
second note on these paragraphs, which is if we agreed that the text speaks of
the Gospel that should believe in it; is it certainly was not talking
concerning the four Gospels, because they were not written at that time, but
after decades of the death of Jesus, so where is the Gospel which Jesus has
called the Disciples to believe in it?
Then
we read the word "gospel" as a term in the following text:
Mark 10:28 Then Peter began to say to Him, "See, we have left
all and followed You."
Mark 10:29 So Jesus answered and said, "Assuredly, I say to you, there is no
one who has left house or brothers or sisters or father or mother or wife or
children or lands, for My sake and the gospel’s,
Mark 10:30 "who
shall not receive a hundredfold now in this time — houses and
brothers and sisters and mothers and children and lands, with
persecutions — and in the age to come, eternal life.
In
this text Mark wrote on the lips of Jesus that he says that anyone leaves
anything for his sake and for the gospel's sake will receive a hundredfold now
in this time!
This
promise has not been achieved, or fulfilled at any time, which indicates that
this text is not a revelation that was received from the LORD or an inspiration
of the Holy Spirit, because if it is a revelation should be achieved and
fulfilled, as had been fulfilled the promises of the Lord in the words of the
prophets of the Old Testament.
As
for the Gospel which the man leaves what he owned for it, this indicates that
there was a Gospel in the time of Jesus, which is certainly not the four
Gospels, because when Jesus talked about the Gospel in this text, he certainly
did not refer to the Gospel of Mark, or anyone else, because the four Gospels
have been written after dozens of years of this narration.
Then
we read the word "gospel" as a term in the following text:
Mark 13:4 "Tell us, when will these things be? And what will be the sign when all these things
will be fulfilled?"
Mark 13:5 And Jesus,
answering them, began to say: "Take
heed that no one deceives you.
Mark 13:6
"For many will come in My name, saying, ‘I am He’, and will deceive many.
Mark 13:7
"But when you hear of wars and rumors of wars, do not be troubled; for such things must happen, but the end is not yet.
Mark 13:8
"For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. And
there will be earthquakes in various places, and there will be famines and
troubles. These are the beginnings of
sorrows.
Mark 13:9
"But watch out for yourselves, for they will deliver you up to councils,
and you will be beaten in the synagogues. You will be brought before rulers and
kings for My sake, for a testimony to them.
Mark 13:10 "And
the gospel must first be preached to all the nations.
Mark 13:11 "But
when they arrest you and deliver you
up, do not worry beforehand, or premeditate what you will speak. But whatever
is given you in that hour, speak that; for it is not you who speak, but the
Holy Spirit.
Mark 13:12 "Now
brother will betray brother to death, and a father his child; and children will rise up against parents and cause them
to be put to death.
Mark 13:13 "And
you will be hated by all for My name’s sake. But he who endures to the end
shall be saved.
Mark 13:14 "So when you see the ‘abomination of desolation’, spoken of by
Daniel the prophet, standing where it ought not" (let the reader
understand), "then let those who are in Judea flee to the mountains.
Mark 13:15 "Let
him who is on the housetop not go down into the house, nor enter to take
anything out of his house.
Mark 13:16 "And
let him who is in the field not go back to get his clothes.
Mark 13:17 "But
woe to those who are pregnant and to those who are nursing babies in those
days!
Mark 13:18 "And
pray that your flight may not be in winter.
Mark 13:19 "For
in those days there will be
tribulation, such as has not been since the beginning of the creation which God
created until this time, nor ever shall be.
Mark 13:20 "And
unless the Lord had shortened those days, no flesh would be saved; but for the
elect’s sake, whom He chose, He shortened the days.
Mark 13:21 "Then
if anyone says to you, ‘Look, here is
the Christ’! or, ‘Look, He is there’!
do not believe it.
Mark 13:22 "For
false christs and false prophets will rise and show signs and wonders to
deceive, if possible, even the elect.
Mark 13:23 "But
take heed; see, I have told you all things beforehand.
Mark 13:24 "But in those days, after that tribulation, the sun will be
darkened, and the moon will not give its light;
Mark 13:25 "the
stars of heaven will fall, and the powers in the heavens will be shaken.
Mark 13:26 "Then
they will see the Son of Man coming in the clouds with great power and glory.
Mark 13:27 "And
then He will send His angels, and gather together His elect from the four
winds, from the farthest part of earth to the farthest part of heaven.
Mark 13:28 "Now learn this parable from the fig tree: When its branch has
already become tender, and puts forth leaves, you know that summer is near.
Mark 13:29 "So
you also, when you see these things happening, know that it is near — at the
doors!
Mark 13:30 "Assuredly,
I say to you, this generation will by no means pass away till all these things
take place.
Mark 13:31 "Heaven
and earth will pass away, but My words will by no means pass away.
In
this text we read the word "gospel" as a term which may be understood
as talking about the four Gospels, particularly that it ended up to spread the
Gospels in the most countries of the world, which suggests that this text is a
true prophecy talking about the future, but the dilemma in this text is the
determination of the signs of the end of time on the lips of Jesus, including
the preaching of the gospel, saying " Assuredly, I say to you, this
generation will by no means pass away till all these things take place",
and this generation passed away, and after it, dozens of generations passed
away, and now we live after more than nineteen centuries of this generation,
and no sign has occurred, which has been mentioned in the text, which means
that he was talking about a special Gospel and not about four Gospels,
especially they had been written after dozens of years of Jesus' death,
therefore I wonder why the churches did not keep this gospel?!
Then
we read the word "gospel" in the following text:
Mark 14:9
"Assuredly, I say to you, wherever this gospel is preached
in the whole world, what this woman has done will also be told as a memorial to
her."
This
text talks about the gospel as in the predecessor text, as it seems like a
prophecy concerning the future, but should be noted that the four Gospels have
been written after decades of saying these words, which means that the text was
not talking about the four Gospels, so where is the Gospel which was mentioned
in the text?
Finally,
we read the word "gospel" as a term in the epilogue of the Gospel of
Mark, which is in the following text:
Mark 16:14 Later He
appeared to the eleven as they sat at the table; and He rebuked
their unbelief and hardness of heart, because they did not
believe those who had seen Him after He had risen.
Mark 16:15 And He said to them, "Go into all the world and preach the gospel to
every creature.
Mark 16:16 "He
who believes and is baptized will be saved; but he who does not believe will be
condemned.
Mark 16:17 "And
these signs will follow those who believe: In My name they will cast
out demons; they will speak with new tongues;
Mark 16:18 "they
will take up serpents; and if they drink anything deadly,
it will by no means hurt them; they will lay hands on the sick,
and they will recover."
The
first thing that we should note is that this text unoriginal in the Gospel of
Mark, but it was added afterwards, because it's not written in the earliest
(almost complete) manuscripts we have (Sinaiticus and Vaticanus) which dated
mid-300's A.D.
Nevertheless,
I would like to ask two questions, the first is what did the writer of these
paragraphs mean by saying preach the gospel to every creature, did he mean the
four Gospels?
The
second is what is the reality of these promises which was written on the lips
of Jesus to his disciples?
As
for the word "gospel" in the text, it's definitely not indicate to
the four Gospels, because they are written after dozens of years of the Jesus'
death, and this shows that the disciples had preached through the Gospel, which
is not the four Gospels. So what is this Gospel, and why the churches did not
keep it?
As
for the promises that launched by the writer of these paragraphs on the lips of
Jesus to his disciples, they are definitely fake promises, because they have
not been achieved in any time during the past centuries, and how the promise
not to be hurt by poison will be achieved, and the history tells that John the
writer of the Gospel has died by poison, and the promise to them to speak new
languages; does not need to huge searching to recognise that it has not been
achieved, but only to know that the four Gospels were written in languages
other than which was spoken by Jesus in order to facilitate understanding their
followers, so, if they could not speak the language of Jesus himself, what
about the other languages, and the church prides of itself for they have translated
the Gospels to more than two thousand languages which spoken by people all over
the world. Moreover the missionaries of churches before moving to different
countries; they learn the languages of those who are going to them, thus, if
the promise which the writer of these paragraphs had written on the lips of
Jesus was true, why they need to translate and to learn languages in order to
preach the Gospels?!
As
for the words "Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every
creature", this contradicts the words which are written on the lips of
Jesus that he was not sent except to the lost sheep of Israel, and commanded
the disciples to not enter a city of the Samaritans and not to go into the way
of the Gentiles, as in the following texts:
Matthew 10:5 These
twelve Jesus sent out and commanded them, saying: "Do not go into the way of the Gentiles,
and do not enter a city of the Samaritans.
Matthew 10:6
"But go rather to the lost sheep of the house of Israel.
Matthew 15:21 Then
Jesus went out from there and departed to the region of Tyre and Sidon.
Matthew 15:22 And behold, a woman of Canaan came from that region
and cried out to Him, saying, "Have mercy on me, O Lord, Son of David! My
daughter is severely demon-possessed."
Matthew 15:23 But He answered her not a word. And His disciples
came and urged Him, saying, "Send her away, for she cries out after us."
Matthew 15:24 But He answered and said, "I was not sent except to the
lost sheep of the house of Israel."
Matthew 15:25 Then she came and worshiped Him, saying, "Lord,
help me!"
Matthew 15:26 But He answered and said, "It is not good to take the children’s
bread and throw it to the little dogs."
So,
Jesus who remained throughout his life did not preach any of Peoples except the
children of Israel, as it is written in the Gospels, how he will call his
disciples to preach the Gentiles, and makes his words pass away, while he who
said heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will by no means pass away,
as in the following texts:
Matthew 24:35 "Heaven
and earth will pass away, but My words will by no means pass away.
Mark 13:31 "Heaven
and earth will pass away, but My words will by no means pass away.
Luke 21:33 "Heaven
and earth will pass away, but My words will by no means pass away.
With
reminders once again that the previous text is not original in the Gospel of
Mark but has been added later.
The
Word or the Term "gospel" in the Gospel of Luke
As
for Luke, who has announced the purpose of writing his Gospel, as shown
previously, had written the word "gospel" in several places in his
Gospel, including the following texts:
Luke 4:18 "The
Spirit of the Lord is upon Me, Because
He has anointed Me To preach the gospel to the
poor; He has sent Me to heal the brokenhearted, To proclaim liberty to the captives And recovery of sight to the blind, To set at liberty those who
are oppressed;
Luke 4:43 but He said to them, "I must preach the kingdom of God to the other cities
also, because for this purpose I have been sent."
Luke 4:44 And He was preaching in the synagogues of Galilee.
King James Version
Luke 4:43 And he said unto
them, I must preach the kingdom of God to other cities also: for
therefore am I sent.
Luke 4:44 And he preached
in the synagogues of Galilee.
New International
Version
Luke
4:43 But he said , ''I must preach the good news of the kingdom of God
to the other towns also, because that is why I was sent'',
Luke 4:44And he kept on preaching in the synagogues of Judea.
Luke 7:22 Jesus answered and said to them, "Go and tell John the things you have
seen and heard: that the blind see, the lame walk, the lepers are cleansed, the
deaf hear, the dead are raised, the poor have the gospel
preached to them.
Luke 8:1 Now it came to
pass, afterward, that He went through every city and village, preaching
and bringing the glad tidings of the kingdom of God. And the twelve were with Him,
Luke 8:2 and certain women who had been healed of evil spirits and
infirmities — Mary called Magdalene, out of whom had come seven demons,
Luke 8:3 and Joanna the wife of Chuza, Herod’s steward, and
Susanna, and many others who provided for Him from their substance.
Luke 9:6 So they departed and went through the towns, preaching
the gospel and healing everywhere.
Luke 16:16 "The
law and the prophets were until John.
Since that time the kingdom of God has been preached, and
everyone is pressing into it.
Luke 16:17 "And
it is easier for heaven and earth to pass away than for one tittle of the law
to fail.
Luke 16:18 "Whoever
divorces his wife and marries another commits adultery; and whoever marries her
who is divorced from her husband
commits adultery.
Luke 20:1 Now it
happened on one of those days, as He taught the people in the temple and preached
the gospel, that the chief
priests and the scribes, together with the elders, confronted Him
In
these texts we read that Jesus and the disciples had preached the Gospel, so
what is this Gospel, and why the churches did not keep it, especially they do
not refer to the four Gospels because they were not written at that time?
The
Word or the Term "gospel" in the Gospel of John
The
Gospel of John who said that it is his testimony for Jesus, there is no mention
to the word "gospel" or good news or preach or preaching or preached!
